GMI offers weekly cell groups, with an emphasis on prayer, evangelism and discipleship. Cell groups are a vital part of life here at Grace, focusing on the following:
A place to encounter Jesus: Jesus said that when two or three people meet together He is there with them. God has a purpose for each one of us -- to become more and more like Jesus. When cells meet, our goal is to encounter Jesus and to experience His life-changing power. We do that as we pray, worship, learn from the Bible and share honestly together.
A place to belong: A cell is more than a meeting. A cell develops community that is built on strong, caring relationships; a place where we can be open and transparent without fear of rejection.
A place to grow: Cells provide an environment to facilitate personal growth. Our groups create an atmosphere for nurturing the development of healthy individuals.
A place to give: Each person has been given gifts and talents by God, for the purpose of advancing His kingdom. A cell group is a place where we can learn to exercise these gifts and talents in a safe environment; a place where we can serve and encourage one another.
A place to reach out: Cells are open to Christians and pre-Christians alike. Cells are a place where introductions to Christ occur.
