At The Lighthouse Christian Academy we strive to balance the educational process between home, school and the local church. Our goal is to build relationships that will enhance the education of each child, preparing them academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually to fulfill their destiny.

| Preschool & Kindergarten Program
We absolutely love our pre-school aged children. With small classes, they receive an abundance of tender loving care and attention, along with the challenges of academic preparation and social skills for a well-balanced program.
Our preschool program consists of Pre-K1 for children who are at least 3 years old and meets for 2 half-day sessions per week. Pre-K2 is a second year preschool program for children at least 4 years old and meets on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. Kindergarden is for students who are at least 5 years old by September 30th of the entering year. Our full-day Kindergarten program meets Monday-Friday from 9am - 3pm, providing a balance of academic challenges and all the fun that a kindergartener deserves!

| Extra-Curricula Activities
LCA provides a variety of extra-curricula and sports activities. Sports teams in soccer, basketball, field and track and all-star cheerleading provide a challenge for any athlete.
Summer camps in soccer, archery and cheerleading provide a wonderful addition to the summertime fun.
An after-school program during the winter months gives way to some great physical exercise to beat those mid-winter blues. |

Grades 1-6
We believe in offering a program that meets the needs of the whole child; intellectually, socially, emotionally and spritually. Instruction is approached with the understanding that all truth is God's truth and that Jesus Christ is at the center of all ife and learning. In order to meet the diverse needs of our students we must be aware of their uniqueness in personality and learning styles and teach them accordingly.

Grades 7-10
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered environment combined with academic excellence that will produce well balanced students prepared to conquer the challenges of life. We provide quaility, certified, professional Christian teachers. Innovative teaching methods for a traditional curriculum with small pupil/teacher ratio. There is a strong interdisciplinary program featuring Music, Art, P.E., foreign language and technology. Athletic program includes soccer, basketball, track & field and cheerleading teams. |
